FASSMET will take part at the next 12th international Iron- Steel foundry technology, machinery and products trade fair with a technical paper dedicated to
“The characteristic parameters of thermal analysis and their effect on the solidification of cast irons”.
The event will be another occasion for final users, foundries, to learn and confront themselves on how the ferro-alloys behaviour can be studied and analyzed during the solidification process to accurately establish the final quality of the cast and its mechanical properties.
FASSMET has been enthusiastic in receiving such warm welcoming during the last Metal and Metallurgy China, May 2014.
The event has been an occasion for the company to bring the foundry world closer to the fundamentals of the thermal analysis:
– Relevance of the cooling curve for final quality control of the metal
– Analysis of the chemical composition, metallurgical behaviors and mechanical properties
– Real time acquisition of necessary parameters directly in the foundry
